Introduced in 1959 at the Paris Auto Salon. Desinged by Pininfarina and
constructed by Sergio Scaglietti. It was the first GT car with 3.0L V12 using the
Testa Rossa outside spark plug cylinder heads and coil valve springs. Also
introduced tubular shock absorbers, disk brakes and the new short wheelbase
chassis. Owned by current owner since 1972 and has never been restored.
#2243 survived the Loma Prieta earthquake in 1989 and Hurricane Iniki
with minor damages. One of only ten dual purpose race/street
GTs with race modifications and steel chassis.
